A theme park in Chorley has been targeted by thugs who have caused several thousand pounds worth of damage.
Camelot Theme Park at Charnock Richard was targeted by vandals twice in just a few days.

On both occasions go-karts from the track at the park were used and in the most recent incident one go-kart was stolen.

Police say that in the latest incident a CCTV camera at the entrance to the park was smashed and the padlock securing the large metal gates was forced.

Sgt Andy Bramhall from Chorley Police said: "They have then gone through several of the retail units forcing locks causing damage and they have also stolen a go-kart valued at £2,000."

He said that damage to the front gates and CCTV is estimated at £4,000.
