Bamber Bridge boss Phil Entwistle says he might try and bring another striker to Irongate before the start of the season.
Brig have failed to score in their opening two pre-season games – including last Tuesday night's creditable 1-0 defeat against Preston North End – and while he's not overly concerned he says he's got an open mind about bringing in another striker.

He said: "We've got seven friendlies left and it's an area we've got to address.

"I'm happy with the squad I've got but I may look to get a recognised goalscorer. As the season approaches I think some will become available from other clubs.

"Alex Porter will start up front. The results so far are immaterial. What happens on August 16 when the league starts is important.

"If we were to win our first five league games of the season I don't mind what happens in pre-season. I'm not bothered if we lose all our friendlies if we do well in the league campaign."
