Five days after picking up their first points of 2010 with a derby win against Chorley, Bamber Bridge lost 2-1 to high-flying Colwyn Bay.
Tony Greenwood would have been hoping for back-to-back wins to get his team;s fading play-off aspirations back on track but they came up against resilient opponents.

However Bamber Bridge were given a numerical advantage after 40 minutes when full-back Anthony Denson was sent-off for a wild challenge on James Heywood.
Four minutes later the Irongate side were back on level terms when poacher supreme Peter Wright scored from close range for this third goal in as many games.
The second half started as the first ended with Bamber Bridge on the attack.
Despite lots of possession the Welshmen blunted the best the some side could offer and went on to grab an audacious winner after 70 minutes.
Ian Sheridan rose to score with a thumping header following a fine run and cross from the right by Greg Stones.
