Two men from Leyland are due to be sentenced on Friday following the death of a man in Adlington.
Police launched a murder inquiry after the body of Chorley man John Paul Bennett, pictured right, was found by a dog walker in Highfield Road North last September.

Leyland men Alan Barton, 55, and Kevin Forbes, 52, both of Leyland Lane, pleaded guilty in December to a charge of assisting an offender.

Their pleas emerged on what was due to be the first day of the murder trial of Phillip Stewart, 34, of The Avenue, Adlington.

However he pleaded guilty to murder.

His girlfriend Christen Gardner, 26, also of The Avenue, Adlington, pleaded guilty to assisting an offender when she appeared at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday.

Mr Bennett ,30, from Chorley, worked at the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant at Charnock Richard services on the M6.

A post mortem revealed he died after receiving severe blows to the head.
