Police in Leyland are appealing for help in catching a man who indecently exposed himself at a woman.
The victim was on her way home from a night out and was walking in the Moss Lane area of Leyland, near the railway station.

She passed a man leaning against a tree who exposed himself at her before running off in the direction of Church Street.

He had an olive complexion, around 5ft 6in to 5ft 8in with a large build and chubby face.

He is in his late 30s to early 40s with scruffy short dark hair, clean shaven and wearing a thin black roundneck jumper.

The incident happened between 1.30am to 1.40am on Saturday, June 21, but details have only just been released.

PC Karen Johnson said the victim was having 'horrendous nightmares' following the incident.

She said: "We are particulary keen to trace two possible witnesses who may have walked past this individual and subsequently spoke with the victim after the incident."

Anyone with information call PCJohnson on 01772 415834 or 01772 415822.
