Police are hunting for youths who collided with a vehicle in Leyland after a high speed chase.
Police were contacted by petrol station staff in Squires Gate Lane, Blackpool after the drivers of the Ford Mondeo car left without paying at 11.30am.

Motorway police noticed the car leaving the M6 at junction 28 and the drivers used the hard shoulder to pass vehicles.

Despite officers in a police car giving chase the Mondeo driver continued onto Lancaster Lane overtaking cars.

The chase was brought to an end when the car collided with another vehicle and the four youths in the car fled the scene on foot. The driver in the other car was uninjured.

Anyone with information should contact Leyland police on 01772 614444.
