Camelot Theme Park in Charnock Richard has confirmed that it will definitely be open for the new season in 2010.
It follows the news that the attraction has enjoyed its best August since 2005, with visitor number targets smashed by 10 per cent.

Sandra Dempsey, sales and marketing manager at Camelot Theme Parks, said: "Many will know that we had an uncertain start to the season, and the weather hasn't always been on our side, but we're delighted that the North West has once again made Camelot one of its top visitor attractions.

"The season ended last Sunday so we are currently in the process of compiling a full season report, however we are very happy with early reports showing visitor numbers for the season ahead of our forecast."

Camelot will open for the 2010 season on Good Friday April 2.
