Two Chorley hairdressers have been named runners-up in a prestigious national competition.
Emma Johnson and Duncan Fisher, of Hair4U, Flat Iron Parade, Chorley, attended a star-studded awards ceremony in London last week to receive their awards.
They battled against competition from top city salons to be runners-up in the GHD Expert of the Year and New Talent award categories.
Celebrity hairdresser Paul Merritt, who starred in Channel 4's The Salon, and GMTV's make-up artist Daniel Sandler, judged the competition alongside directors from GHD.
Emma, 25, an artistic director at Hair4U, said: "The GHD awards are the industry's most prestigious event. All of the GHD salons in the UK enter so to reach the finals is amazing.
