A fitness instructor from Chorley has beaten thousands of rivals to front a national marketing campaign.
Lindsay Morris, 24, has worked at the Park Hall Hotel in Charnock Richard for seven years and she was chosen by her fellow employees to head a major advertising campaign aimed at highlighting staff who go above and beyond the call of duty.

The mot
her-of-one, who was a keen member at the on-site leisure centre before she got a job there, has become an integral part of the team creating innovative eating and exercise plans for clients.

The health fanatic even devised her own programmed called Body Plan, which helps women lose weight after having a baby.

She said: "It's extremely motivating for them and gives them something to strive for - I don't know anyone else who's thought of packaging nutrition advice and exercise rather than just one or the other."

Lindsay is also a keen charity fundraiser.

Just last month, she helped raise £8,000 for Children in Need during a six-hour aerobics marathon.

Jeanette Marshall, sales and marketing manager, said: "When I saw the brief of who they were looking for I immediately thought of Lindsay.

"She's very much a people person, and is really focused on helping the customers.

"She wants what's best for them and often comes in on her days off if she thinks it will help people achieve their goals - she's a real motivator."

Best Western's PR manager, Mikhaila Brentnall, said: "We hoped to find people with the individuality and personality which reflect the hotels themselves.

"Lindsay adds that extra special something to her role meaning that guests have an unrivalled stay."
