Let me change your mind...

A new hypnotherapist hopes to help people reach their goals.
Narina Riskowitz, an expert in psychology and communication, says her specialist knowledge and techniques can help clients achieve anything they want.
Narina is a certified master practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), 'timeline' therapy and hypnotherapy as well as an NLP coach and came to England six years ago from South Africa with her husband Calvin.
Now living in Leyland, Narina has set up base as part of the long established Towngate Complementary Therapy Clinic, working amongst other practitioners in holistic therapies.
She said: "I think it was Henry Ford who said 'whether you believe you can, or you believe you can not, you are right'. My form of therapy is all about unleashing the hidden power of the mind.
"We can help people overcome fears and phobias by working with their unconscious mind.
"The perceptions of hypnotherapy are people making idiots of themselves on stage and doing strange things. But my sessions are not like that at all.
"People are always aware of what they are doing, but they are in a state of mediation.
"We then work with the unconscious mind and help them visualise the process of achieving the goals they want.
"It can be anything from giving up smoking, overcoming a fear of flying, or even succeeding in their career.
"We say the conscious mind is the goal setter and the unconscious mind is the goal getter."
Narina has been fully trained in, and experienced, all the types of therapy she practices and says patients are always in control.
Now she is challenging people in Leyland and Chorley who want to make a changing their life, to give her a try.
She said: "I would quite like to know that we are getting rid of fears that keep people back from being the best they can be, while at the same time dispelling a few myths."
Narina's services are promoted amongst the medical profession and she hopes to establish herself via word of mouth from local customers.
Sessions can be from one to two hours, with a two hour sessions costing £80.
