Leading Lancashire solicitors, Marsden Rawsthorn, has joined forces with long-established Chorley firm, Hardwicks.
The coming together took place on May 1, exactly a year to the day since the merger that established Marsden Rawsthorn.

This latest collaboration represents the third Chorley-based merger in the firm's history since its launch in 1925.

Having a
lready joined forces with Ryan Heatons and Bamber Langley, this latest move will increase the number of services offered.

Both firms are highly respected in the area and have strong Chorley ties.

Partner, John Hardwick, is especially well regarded within the town's farming, police and magistrate communities.

With a strong specialism in criminal and family law, the Hardwicks teams will introduce a wider spread of expertise into the Marsden Rawsthorn Chorley office to make a wider range of services available from a single central office.

Charles Maher, chief executive at Marsden Rawsthorn, said: "The merger with Hardwicks represents a significant step forward for both firms.

"We are forging ahead with our activities region wide and our presence in Chorley represents an integral part of the future of this firm.

Hardwicks have been practicing for more than 35 years, and are very much part of the fabric of Chorley.

"This combined experience and expertise of our two practices will create a new standard of legal support for the people and businesses of Chorley."
