Anna is top NW entrepreneur
A former Chorley schoolgirl is celebrating after winning a coveted award to celebrate women in business.
Anna Heyes, managing director of public relations firm Active Profile, was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the North West Women in Business Awards.
The 26-year-old former Runshaw College pupil beat hundreds of other hopefuls to scoop the award at a prestigious awards ceremony at Haydock Park Racecourse, in Merseyside.
Anna said: "I'm thoroughly delighted to have won the award, I love running Active Profile, and we've got a great team, great clients and a very exciting future.
"I'm equally passionate about enterprise in schools and for girls in particular so I look forward to doing further work promoting entrepreneurship as a viable career option from an early age."
